It’s been years in the making, and now it’s only weeks away.
Crescent Parts & Equipment’s Columbia, Missouri branch has outgrown its current building and is officially moving down the road to 4639 N. Interstate Drive, where it will occupy a much larger space.
The new location will open its doors to customers Monday, January 16. The current location will remain open through Friday, January 13, meaning there will be no inconvenient reduction in hours during the brief transition period.
Crescent’s first Columbia location was at West Boulevard and Jackson Street starting in 2000, but after five years of rapid growth, the location was moved to the larger building at 1615 Commerce Court. Now, after even more growth, a new location is in order.
Western Region Manager Roland Templeton said President George Giudici and Vice President Guy Giudici knew the building on Interstate Drive was the perfect place to move when they discovered it earlier this year.
“Customers can expect ample parking and a larger customer area and showroom, for starters,” Templeton said. “And Crescent Parts plans to increase our depth of parts, along with refrigeration and HVAC equipment, to better meet our customers’ needs in the Columbia area.”
Templeton added that his favorite part of the relocation is knowing the new building is “enormous” and will serve Crescent and its customers “well into the future.”
Columbia Branch Manager Dave Davis is also excited about the size of the new building, and said the layout is being designed from scratch with “unlimited room.”
“More room translates into more stock for our customers, which will increase customer satisfaction,” he said.
