Operation Service Seminar
Sixty
service techs and mechanics completed the
Compressor Operation Service Seminar (COSS).
The three day seminar was conducted by Emerson
Climate Technologies and their instructor,
Steve Brown on March 21st, 22nd, and 23rd,
2006 at the Holiday Inn Viking conference
center in Sunset Hills, Missouri.
COSS is an
in-depth study starting with overall system
design to components to field service and
troubleshooting. The class specializes in
Copeland compressors and their various applications.
The class covered the very latest in compressor
technology.
Crescent Parts
had students from as far as Madison, Wisconsin
to attend this world-renowned training. The
US Navy took advantage of the opportunity
and sent 5 of our nations finest to keep the
refrigeration equipment in tiptop shape aboard
our submarine fleet.
All training
was taken voluntarily at a fee of $450.00
per student. The class is NATE certified and
also approved for ST. Louis County PEU’s
for mechanical license.
