Mark Walczyk of Copeland (30+ years experience) will discuss the five most common mechanical failure modes on semi-hermetic compressors, i.e., overheating, loss of oil failures, refrigerant flood back, flooded starts and slugging. Detailed cause and effect analysis. Compressor tear downs in small groups to evaluate failures with recommendations for corrective actions. Also, overview and diagnostic information on Copeland's new CoreSense Protection module.

The new DOE regulations call for all new furnaces to have ECM motors starting July 3, 2019. Get ahead of the curve and learn more about ECM technology.
